Spring 2008 News Brief
ost of this year will be spent fully integrating an on-line digital system that will provide you with an interactive Internet resource with advanced keywording and visual image searches, syndication management (custom lightboxes, hi-res downloads...), usage licensing and on-line payment.
'll be photographing mostly around the west this year. As well, Karen and I will be running and photographing the "Grand Slam" of ultra marathoning — running four 100 mile trail races in ten weeks, from June through September. These running events include: Western States in California, Vermont in Vermont, Leadville in Colorado and Wasatch in Utah.
Spring Magic: The Tulips of Skagit Valley is a 9” x 9”, 32-page book of stunning color photographs of the Skagit Valley in full bloom. The accompanying essay briefly sketches the history of the tulips and the founding of the Skagit Valley bulb industry by Dutch farm families.
